I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of issues and trauma including sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and grief and loss for about 20 years. I also value marriage and the family and want to help couples work through their issues and see them grow in their ability to communicate and resolve the conflicts that are bound to happen in relationships.

It’s so easy for life to get the best of us, leaving us feeling out of control or not fully ourselves. We’re often not even aware of how much the problems within us have to do with the systems outside of us, like our relationships, communities, and culture. That's why I especially love working with marginalized (LGBTQ+, ethnic minority, etc.) and young/emerging adults.

We all need help sometimes. You don't have to go it alone. I specialize in helping families and children with social and emotional issues, parenting and family dynamics. I offer individual and family sessions for all ages. Using traditional psychotherapy, expressive arts therapy, and play therapy, I take a holistic approach recognizing that many complex factors affect our health, behavior, and relationships.

Life can be challenging sometimes. Helping clients get to a better path or place in life is my goal. With over 20 years as a mental health therapist, I work with clients to help them cope with and find working strategies to deal with struggles and challenges. My therapy style is interpersonal, goal-directed and strengths-based.

I have over 10 years of experience in the field of clinical social work and mental health. My experience in this field taught me that the best way to help a person make positive changes in their life is to provide them with a safe and compassionate space where anything can be discussed, challenges can be addressed, and new strengths discovered. I am also passionate about overall wellness, and believe that nutrition, exercise, and sleep play an important role in mental health.
