FamilyWorks Together specializes in working with families formed through adoption . Working together with parents and children to enhance their connection and attachment while deepening the understanding of how challenging experiences and the complexities of adoption and foster care are impacting their lives. Our approach incorporates the core clinical issues of adoption . Our work also utilizes somatic and creative approaches in addition to evidence based practices to heal from trauma and understand how trauma is held in the body which allows for a sense of control and to reshape those experiences through healing relationships.

My training has taught me to gently guide creative development in persons with little or no artistic experience. I use art-based creative, verbal, and experiential methods.
