Hi! Have you been struggling with feeling sad, irrititated, hopelessness, worried or anxious? Are things not going well for you recently in your life? You have made the right decision to seek help and also you have come to the right place. When depression, anxiety and other conditions cloud our minds, it will hinder our ability to focus and problem solve, which leaves us stuck in that state of mind. My goals is to help you pull through that state of mind.

If you're a client who is done with run of the mill, one size fits all therapy and are on here looking for a stimulating and dynamic experience, then I am here for you. I love working with adults 25-45 years of age and couples at any stage of life. I also run modern therapy groups which are an incredible way to give your life and personality a boost. After living and working as a therapist in New York City for the last 20 years, I have come back to Maryland with a desire to continue working with people from all walks of life, especially those of you who think you're a "hopeless case" or are a "therapy is not for me" person.

Currently accepting new clients for daytime slots - Welcome! It can be an extremely daunting task to try to find the right therapy fit, and searching through profiles can quickly become overwhelming. As an openly ADHDer myself, I work primarily with neurodivergent pre-teens, teens and adults with a wide range of concerns with specialty in ADHD, SPD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy working with adults struggling through with workplace burnout. I can help to recognize, validate, and explore difficult thoughts and feelings and provide concrete supports and tools to help manage them.

Effective 3/17/25 - I have immediate openings and I am in-network with several insurance companies...Understanding and managing mental health struggles can be debilitating both mentally and physically. I work collaboratively with adults helping them to manage these difficulties and live a more fulfilling life. I am a Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician (BICBT-CC) and a Diplomate, Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT). I also believe in the power of mindfulness and use this to bolster my CBT practice. I emphasize acceptance of emotions, not judging emotional experiences as being "bad," "good," "wrong," or "right."
