We are LGBTQ+ allied, sex positive , kink -friendly and nurturing to all clients.
My name is Sierra Coleman, and helping people is my calling. I feel lucky to be able to call myself a therapist as it’s my passion. I believe that each client has their own unique set of challenges and responds in their own way to different interventions, therefore my orientation is deeply person centered with an emphasis on experiential therapy. I believe that problems are interwoven parts of the whole person (mind, body, environment, and the interpersonal) and see counseling as a collaborative process to empower my clients.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page! As a psychotherapist and board-approved supervisor for LGPCs and master's level clinicians, I am grateful for the opportunity to support clients in their healing journey. My approach is rooted in metacognitive perspective, which involves helping clients develop new ways to control their attention and relate to negative thoughts and beliefs. In addition to my metacognitive approach, I am trained in CBT and Neurofeedback. I've found these approaches to be particularly effective in treating clients with anxiety, PTSD, OCD, depression, ASD, and ADHD.

As a queer, body positive, sex positive clinician, I want you to know that there's no pressure to act a certain way in therapy.
I believe that we already hold the knowledge and power to heal within ourselves. But what happens if we don’t have the support or courage to do so on our own? That’s where I come in! As your therapist, my goal is to support you on your pathway to healing- whatever that may look like to you. Shame, body image, grief, anxiety, 2SLGBTQ+ concerns, relationship struggles, and children and youth navigating gender identity are all areas of focus in my work. I have a particular interest in supporting those considering conceiving/gestating. Taking that step can feel scary and polarizing in our binary filled world.

I love working with couples and individuals with difficulty in romantic relationships (i.e. sexual issues, communication, infidelity, divorce), adults who come from dysfunctional childhoods, as well as those with anxiety, impulsivity, and addiction. I also enjoy working with those in non-traditional romantic relationships (i.e. ethically non-monogamous, polyamorous). I am LGBTQIA- affirming and sex positive . I work best with clients who are engaged, thoughtful, and motivated for change. My style is empathic and direct, with a sense of humor. I believe strongly in the therapeutic alliance and the client/therapist fit.

Because no two patients are alike, therapy should be tailored to each patient, rather than trying to treat everyone with the same theoretical approach. I believe that a therapist’s job is to guide the patient as they learn to change the behaviors and thinking styles that may have once been helpful, but are now getting in their way. Most importantly, I believe it is a therapist's job to teach their patients the skills necessary to eventually function independent of their therapist, allowing them to eventually leave therapy instead of being stuck with having weekly sessions for the rest of their lives!

Hello! I’m Laura : ) Looking for a compassionate, kind, and playful mental health therapist? It could be me! As a clinician, I value connection, compassion, authenticity, and humor (because sometimes we just need to laugh). When I work with people, I view them through a holistic lens and facilitate a connection between the mind, body, and spirit. I supplement my work with trauma-informed mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), client centered therapy, and IFS. Overall, I strive to help people be unapologetically themselves and to build compassion for the world around them.

Teens and adults living with low self-esteem, medical challenges, grad school and related stress, relationship and family of origin issues, grief and loss, identity/immigrant experiences, transitions, trauma, and anxiety and/or depression work with me to identify and implement strategies to manage or eliminate stress and distress. Through a process of identifying, understanding and evaluating emotional states, thinking and behavior patterns we eliminate and replace unproductive habits with more adaptive patterns toward an increased sense of well-being and ability to thrive and function satisfactorily.

I have been fortunate to be able to work in a field I am passionate about, and having the opportunity to help people find positive growth in their lives. I've spent over 25 years working with adolescents in a variety of roles and settings. In recent years I have had the opportunity to turn my focus towards family therapy, and experience how rewarding it can be help families work through conflicts, making them stronger, more resilient, and unified. I also enjoy doing insight based work with adults who are experiencing conflicts or transitions in their lives, as well as working with couples to help strengthen their relationships.
