We all deserve to feel safe and secure in our daily lives; confident and calm in our social interactions. So many of us suffer from life altering or traumatic events which create barriers from living our full potential.
I am a mental health therapist who can help you feel your absolute best. I embrace a relaxed, non-threatening style of therapy that can help you focus on your needs and take care of yourself. If you experience difficulty managing moods, dealing with stress, relating to others, or if you are struggling with work, school, or relationships I can help.
My ideal client would be an individual who is intentional about their therapeutic journey. They want to work collaboratively to determine their goals. They are open to being supported and to trying new ideas to learn what is most helpful to achieving their goals.
My speciality is serving clients with reproductive related mental health issues. I specialize in treating women experiencing perinatal mental health disorders like postpartum depression and anxiety. I treat women experiencing grief after pregnancy loss or reproductive surgical procedures.
In these special times I am focusing on ADHD present in adults and mature teens. I would love the opportunity to guide you along at this juncture of your life's journey. On the "seas of life" it is normal to have a whole variety of experiences, from calm waters on a bright and sunny day to horrific choppy waters with gigantic waves ready to threaten our very existence (like trauma). Then again, it could be something that we were born with (like ADHD) that makes steering our life's ship very difficult. Whatever your situation is, I am ready to be your co-captain and help you steer to calmer waters to the port of your choice.

I believe that everyone already has what it takes to feel better, make powerful personal changes and to heal - and it is my job to create a safe and nurturing environment so that each individual can uncover and grow their own skills. I feel privileged every day to be able to do this work and bear witness to the strength, resiliency and bravery of the people who sit across from me.
If you are seeking a transformation through identifying your individual strengths and empowerment, I am the therapist for you. I enjoy working with individuals and being a part of their restorative journey. I have experience with working with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues and an over-all search for and growth of self. I also eagerly work with couples that wish to strengthen their relationship, improve their communication, restore their trust, foster forgiveness, increase intimacy and conflict-resolution, and/or are trying to decide whether to solidify their commitment.
Hello, I believe in meeting the client where they are at and fostering their strengths. In my practice, I offer a safe, non- judgmental space where the client will achieve their full potential and process their thoughts. Through this, clients will work on their presenting issues, mental health symptoms, triggers, life challenges, life stressors, and well-being.
I am a clinical psychologist with over thirty years of experience in child, adolescent and adult therapy. Over the last several years, I have become increasingly interested in effective ways to help children, teens and adults navigate their emotions and behaviors. Mood disorders, particularly anxiety, OCD and depression, as well as problems with attention and impulsivity are frequent concerns presented by my clients, along with a range of other interpersonal issues. I have also worked extensively with children and families who are experiencing the impact of such issues as divorce, stepfamilies, single parent households and dual career couples.
Welcome to our practice. Our therapists strive to create a warm, compassionate environment to assist our clients in achieving their goals. We support our clients with symptom management, improved relationships and self-discovery. In addition to our commitment to ongoing training and supervision, we provide mentorship and supervision to recent graduates and newly licensed therapists.
Your transition starts here. Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out exactly what we are experiencing. You may feel sad, irritable, quick to anger or you may find yourself in the depths of excessive worry. The challenge can be that we are so close to our issue, we can’t always see clearly.
I understand that each individual is not an illness or label, rather a person with multiple contributing factors towards his or her distress and/or reasons that are his or her impetus for seeking help. For this reason, I try my best, as renowned psychotherapist Irvin Yalom puts it, to “create a new therapy for each client.”
I know it’s hard to find the right therapist. As someone on my own healing journey, I understand the importance of working with someone who “gets” where you're at. I bring more than a decade of work as a trauma therapist to our relationship. If you have previously been in therapy or you’re simply struggling to let go of childhood wounds, I can help you. My specialization is treating adults with painful childhoods. This can include challenges with your mom, dad or caregivers, parental abuse or neglect, codependency, issues with trust, self confidence or self esteem.
CURRENTLY NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS! My professional journey began 16 years ago when I focused on becoming a part of the beautiful process of healing. I have always admired the resiliency of people who have suffered traumatic life changing events. Shame and guilt often keeps us from seeking the help that is so desperately needed. I have learned throughout my career that this process is a partnership and that each person is unique. Taking the steps to participate in the healing process is a brave act and I would be honored to embark on this journey of self discovery with you.
Are leftover traumas from your past holding you back from living fully? Do you wish you could stop trying to numb out from your negative thoughts, depression, anxiety or addiction? Through therapy, you can learn how to embrace your vulnerabilities and step into the life you want to be living. I am a compassionate and supportive clinical social worker who connects with you to create a safe space to talk about what’s happened to you. Together we’ll begin to understand the impact of trauma and shame while practicing techniques you can use to live a healthier and happier life.
