With the stress of the modern world, our hustle and bustle culture, and the limited time we have for connection today- people come to therapy looking for a place to let it all out. It's easy to fall into cycles of negative self talk, worry, or old triggers from our childhood. One thing I know for sure is we can't heal all on our own, and finding an authentic connection who can support you is invaluable. I can offer warmth, compassion, perspective, and mindfulness with a healthy dose of humor. I am here to help you guide and explore your feelings and reassure you that you are indeed, not your negative thoughts.

Are trauma, stress, or anxiety quietly stealing your joy? Do you feel alone, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself? You’re not broken—and you don’t have to face this alone. I’m a trained trauma therapist, and I help adults heal from the weight of trauma, stress, and anxiety. Together, we’ll uncover the roots of what’s holding you back, release the patterns keeping you stuck, and help you step fully into a life that feels like you again—whole, grounded, and free. In our work together, you’ll not only uncover the root of what’s driving your anxiety, stress, or trauma—you’ll also release it at a body level.

While major life milestones like finishing college or launching a career are often celebrated, the reality is that these transitions can be deeply disorienting. I specialize in helping adults 18+, students, and early-career professionals navigate the "stuckness" that often accompanies these shifts. Whether you are grappling with imposter syndrome, decision paralysis, or the heavy weight of existential doubt, it is common to feel like everyone else has it figured out while you are struggling to find your footing. My goal is to help you untangle these fears, easing the pressure to perform and helping you build a life you thrive in!

For me personally, I find that any client is an ideal client. Every individual has within them their own internal timeline, mechanism, and capacity for change that is inherently correct for them. I do my best to respect this as a clinician. I do ask for an honest accounting of oneself to the best of their ability. If this is successfully reached, then the possibility for healing and moving forward from mental anguish is possible. It is my professional belief that when both the client and the therapist are fully open to the process that the work truly begins.

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
