You might wonder what your life purpose really is, or feel as if you’re stuck in the same cycle. Many of my clients have described feeling overwhelmed by the never-ending pressures of life. I find that many people have dealt with so much trauma and disappointment in life that they begin to feel powerless. The way out isn’t necessarily to fix all the problems in your life, but to learn how to respond differently to them, as your capable, beautiful self. Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to see a new path. I help people get out of unhelpful patterns, so they can pursue their true purpose and direction.

I'm a trauma therapist integrating Jungian Therapy (shadow work), Eastern psychology, EMDR, Somatic Processing. Many people drawn to my work are high-functioning but carry deep, unresolved trauma, grief, and identity wounds that have not been fully addressed through traditional therapy. My sessions are structured to create lasting progress rather than short-term fixes. If you’ve outgrown surface-level healing and need something deeper, grounded; my approach helps clients move out of self-betrayal and codependency patterns, to feel more regulated in their bodies, and experience greater emotional freedom and confidence in daily life.

I help clients build awareness of their symptoms and explore what those experiences truly signify. Recognizing that harmful behaviors are often symptoms—not personal failings—can be incredibly liberating. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they step outside their comfort zones and begin embracing the language of self-compassion. Together, we work toward meaningful progress and lasting personal growth.

Licensed in FL, ID, IL, MD, NC, SC, VA, VT. I'm glad you are here, taking care of YOU! Life can feel heavy, we hold on to the past and we can feel lost on how to move forward. I want to offer you tools and techniques that can help stop the thoughts from spinning and support you in the direction you want to go. Sometimes we need to just give ourselves permission to make choices; forgive ourselves and others (doesn't mean those we forgive are still given space in our life) and how to make the best future we can. I want to remind you that you matter and you deserve to feel good. We do this by "talking it out" - see what I did there?

Listening to others' stories and supporting them in finding positive paths through challenges has always felt like a natural calling. Even as a child, friends would often reach out, and my mom would joke, "Is the doctor in?" Later on, this passion led to volunteering with kids in creative programs and working in hospice care, where deeper connections were formed. These experiences led to a rewarding role at an outpatient community clinic, where people from all walks of life could share their unique journeys and struggles.

Licensed in NY, MD, & NC. Hi! I’m really glad you’re here. Life can get overwhelming — juggling school, work, relationships, family expectations, or just trying to figure out who you are and what you want. Even the strongest, most put-together people have moments where things feel “too much.” Reaching out for support doesn’t mean something is wrong with you; it means you’re human. And you don’t have to deal with everything on your own.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
