In our session, I will help you explore your feelings, examine patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, and identify other destructive inhibitions that are creating challenges for you. We will use a holistic treatment approach that will identify your strengths, areas of needed growth, and overall promotes your well being. By teaching tools for coping and change tailored to each individual in an environment of compassion and support, I have helped individuals and families to find a balance and move forward when life challenges arise.

Asking for help is not easy. It takes an immense amount of courage to step into a stranger's office and share your story with them. As a therapist, earning my client's trust and working with them to find solutions that can improve their life is a great honor. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of issues including sexual addiction, couples and family conflict, developmental disabilities, codependency, anxiety, and depression.

For the past 16 yrs I've worked primarily with children & adolescents* on the autism spectrum. Of course working with children means working with parents; partnering with parents is essential so that the progress we make in sessions carries over to everyday family life. There is nothing better than finding the "secret" to reaching a child and seeing them blossom before your eyes. It might not happen overnight, but believe me, it happens. To make the most progress, children should begin therapy as early as possible. * I can see adult clients and couples, wkdays between 11 am - 2 pm.

Are you are feeling like traditional talk therapy is not enough? Are you finding that you aren't really feeling better after your therapy sessions? Do have a really busy life and scheduling your life around hourly sessions is no longer working for you? Well you've come to the right place. Talk therapy aims to change the way you think which is supposed to change the way you feel but our brains don't work that way. Then when you don't feel any better you are given coping skills that are supposed to do the trick. What if you actually felt differently about your past or your triggers and it naturally changed the way you thought?

I work with clients who are interested in exploring alternative approaches to traditional therapy. Whether you’re looking for a different way to engage in therapy or simply feel a connection to music, music therapy may be a good fit for you. You don’t need any musical background—music is a universal human experience. I believe in the healing power of both music and science. Music therapy combines both to support healing and personal growth.

HOPE. Four simple letters. One small word. Why is it so hard to find hope when stress is piling up on us? To me, counseling is a process centered on finding the hope that these stressors can be managed and our lives can change. Following a Motivational Interviewing (MI) approach, my goal is to meet you where you are in your personal journey for change and recovery. Through collaborative exploration and goal-planning, I will work with you to help you develop the skills necessary to build or return to a healthy level of personal functioning.

For many people, the decision to enter into therapy can be daunting - they may be unsure of what to expect, they may be uncertain if it will be helpful, and they may be fearful of the idea of sharing a side of themselves with someone they do not know. I am empathetic to this feeling and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is essential to the healing process, and I collaborate with my clients to create a trusting environment.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially during seasons of change, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating life transitions, relational challenges, women’s issues, body image concerns and eating disorders, as well as the complexities that arise when supporting loved ones with medical or chronic health conditions. I also support clients facing anxiety, depression, and the everyday stressors that can quietly build over time.
