I work with Preteen through Seniors, including First Responders and our U
Welcome everyone. I am excited to meet you. Life can be tough. The everyday demands of school, family and our careers can be overwhelming. There will be times when we just need someone to listen, and there will be times when the adversities of life can leave us in need of developing certain skills to help us cope. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond and look after ourselves. Let's work together, develop a plan for you, and create the life you want!

I support teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, life transitions, family conflict, burnout, and concerns tied to identity, communication, or self-esteem. Many juggle demanding lives and shifting roles including students, professionals, caregivers, or individuals managing complex personal and family dynamics. They often seek tools to manage stress, build emotional insight, and improve relationships. More than anything, they want to feel grounded, seen, and reconnected with who they are.

I work with children through adults who experience trauma, parents with burn out from special needs children, teachers, and first responders.
I am a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). I focus on a whole mind-body approach using physio-psychology to inform the trauma healing process. I spent many years as a special education music teacher in public schools and transferred that to working with neurodivergent children and parents.

We're constantly inundated with messaging about the "right" way to be. In our work together, we'll explore societal expectations and generational patterns, allowing you to let go of ways of being that aren't reflective of who you are authentically. I support folks who are navigating life transitions, experiencing grief and loss, struggling with depression, anxiety and the lingering impacts of trauma, and exploring aspects of identity such as gender, sexuality, spirituality and career. I also support folks in helping, teaching and healthcare roles who are navigating burnout, vicarious trauma and impostor syndrome.

Hi, I'm Call — thank you for visiting my profile. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with issues of both over-control, such as OCD and anxiety, and under-control, including depression, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. Many of the people I work with feel stuck — caught in the same patterns, repeating the same behaviors, and telling themselves the same stories. My goal is to help you break free from those cycles and build a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

I specialize in anxiety and trauma, and I start from a simple belief: your symptoms aren’t random—they’re part of how your mind and body learned to protect you. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore what’s fueling the anxiety, what keeps the cycle going, and what you need to feel safer and more in control. We’ll work toward change while honoring the reasons these patterns showed up in the first place.

I have been working with first responders and veterans since 2018.
Are you the one everyone counts on, but feel like you are running on empty? You keep going, stay calm in chaos, and carry more than most people know. If you are a first responder, veteran, healthcare worker, or high-stress professional, you have likely learned to put your own needs last. Underneath the strength, you may feel anxious, numb, disconnected, or burned out. Therapy gives you space to slow down, process what you have been carrying, and start healing in a way that works for you.

First Responders Therapists
Why is mental health important for first responders?
As part of their work, first responders are often exposed to high levels of stress, trauma, and physical injury that can put them at a greater risk for serious mental health conditions than the general population. Conditions like PTSD, anxiety, substance use, and depression are more common in first responders, which can greatly reduce quality of life and lead to burnout, sleep disruption, and even suicidal thoughts. Therapy can offer an opportunity for first responders to process difficult on-the-job experiences and develop coping skills to better manage any mental health symptoms they may experience.

How can first responders get access to mental health support?
Many first responders can access therapy for free or at a very low cost through their employer, such as through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Workplaces may also offer or have referral recommendations for support groups, where first responders can meet with others in their profession to receive support. Individuals who would like to access mental health services outside of their employer may use their insurance benefits to see a therapist, which they can find by searching for therapists online or asking for recommendations from their primary care physician.

What type of therapy is best for first responders?
The best therapy approach depends on the mental health concerns of the client. Since many first responders struggle with trauma or PTSD, they may benefit from trauma-specific therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Exposure Therapy, or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Individuals with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or stress may alternatively benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches, which can help clients develop coping skills to manage distressing thoughts.

Can therapy for first responders help with trauma and PTSD?
Therapy can be highly effective in both treating and preventing trauma and PTSD in first responders. Typically, therapy for trauma and PTSD focuses on developing stress management skills and managing intrusive or unwanted thoughts. Therapists working with first responders often help clients strengthen their relationships and reduce harmful coping mechanisms, such as excessive substance use. Additionally, therapists assist first responders in establishing daily habits that support overall mental and physical health and enhance resilience to future stress, such as regular physical exercise, mindfulness practices, and improved eating habits.
