Every stage in life, every situation we face, brings with it challenges, hardships and opportunities. The psychotherapeutic process brings focus and awareness to where we are now in our lives, where we've been, and the person we want to be. I see the therapeutic process as a journey that we take together. Whether you are an adult, adolescent, or family, my goal is to create a safe, caring, non-judgmental environment where you can explore relationship dynamics, patterns of behavior, identity, and opportunities for growth and change.

I often integrate EMDR and somatic interventions to support healing of both the mind and body.
Healing often begins with feeling seen and supported in the parts of your life that have been difficult to carry alone. When trauma, grief, or stress remains unresolved, it can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, and overwhelmed. I’m here to help you better understand patterns shaped by these experiences and develop healthier ways of coping.

I specialize in perinatal trauma and matrescence, using specialized EMDR to guide women and couples through trauma, burnout, and feeling detached.
You thought you’d have it all figured out. Instead, everything feels heavy, loud, and relentless. You’re a high-achieving woman or couple navigating motherhood, burnout, or old wounds parenting has stirred awake. You snap more easily, feel resentful toward family, and carry intrusive thoughts from pregnancy or birth. You love your child AND some days still fantasize about escape. You’re grieving what you didn’t receive while trying to give your child something better. You’re not broken, but you know something has to change. Healing here is measured in quieter ways: clearer boundaries, fewer shame spirals, and more choice.

Sometimes the dream of raising children is not what you expected. No matter what you do, it seems nothing works. You worry if your child will be okay and if things will ever get better. You are not alone. It is heartbreaking to see your child struggle socially, academically, emotionally, and behaviorally. Many factors impact behavior. Trauma, sensory overload, and grief, are just a few examples. When children don't know how to communicate their experiences, feelings, and needs, they often communicate through behaviors such as tantrums, acting aggressively, or shutting down.

Welcome to a space where you don’t have to perform, you just get to be human. I work with teens, young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the messiness of figuring out who you are when the world feels overwhelming. If you're tired of pretending you're fine, or ready to stop waiting for life to feel less hard before you start living it, we’ll probably work well together. I’m here for the grey areas, the loops, the soft spirals, the parts of life that don’t have neat endings. Because that’s where growth actually happens.

For trauma and grief-focused work I integrate EMDR with expressive tools and techniques.
Welcome, and congratulations on taking this courageous step toward healing, self-discovery, and change. As a licensed art therapist, I help guide people through the transformative power of their own creativity. Art makes the invisible visible, and it communicates when words are insufficient, uncomfortable, or unsafe. I am here to help you tell your story through images and words, and to support your goals with empathy and non-judgment. Sometimes that involves art-making, sometimes conversation, often both. Wondering if art therapy might be a good fit for you or your family member? Let's chat.

My training integrates the practical, skill-building focus of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with the introspective, compassionate methods of Internal Family Systems (IFS), & EMDR, but ultimately, this is a collaborative process.
I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, psychosis, and major life transitions. A particular passion for me is working with families who are supporting loved ones living with psychosis. Experiencing these issues can be confusing, overwhelming, and deeply isolating. My goal is to help you feel more equipped and less alone as you find your way through it.

I specialize in trauma and identity work using EMDR, schema therapy, and trauma-informed CBT.
You may appear high-functioning on the outside but are desperate on the inside. Maybe you’re carrying trauma, stuck in painful relationship cycles, or battling anxiety, grief, or a deep sense of disconnection. You want clarity, peace, and healing—but more than anything, you want to feel like yourself again. You’re ready to understand the “why” behind your struggles, not just talk about the latest crisis. You’re looking for something deeper—a space to be real, to be safe, and to begin to untangle what’s been holding you back.

Many of my clients come in with depression, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, emotional & narcissistic abuse, and relationship issues.

I am trained in EMDR, I-CBT, CBT, and DBT and have also completed a certificate program as a grief educator and in grief movement.
I believe that each person is born with incredible strengths that are sometimes buried through their interpretation of life events and personal struggles. We can become anxious, depressed, angry or overwhelmed, while dreaming of the way we really want to live and express ourselves. I can honestly say that each of you has the potential to uncover your true self; to find contentment, self-worth and self-growth. The journey can be rough, at times, but I would like to walk alongside the path with you as you re-discover your dynamic self and achieve your personal goals.

EMDR Therapists
Who is EMDR for?
EMDR was initially developed as a treatment for individuals with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for whom memories of a deeply distressing experience can be inadvertently triggered by random everyday events. The procedure has since been applied in the treatment of many other conditions. For example, it is used by some therapists to treat anxiety disorders including panic and phobias, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and some personality disorders. It is suitable for adolescents and adults.

Why do people need EMDR?
People need EMDR as a way to manage distressing memories that in some way hamper the ability to function in the present. The procedure is believed to target the way memories are stored in the brain. Evidence indicates that past disturbing experiences cause ongoing distress because they were not adequately processed, and when such memories are triggered in the present, they are accompanied by all the emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations as the initial experience.

What problems does EMDR treat?
First and foremost, EMDR is intended as a treatment for PTSD, to defuse distressing memories that intrude on and impair everyday functioning. It is also often used to help those who are subject to panic attacks, phobias, and other forms of anxiety. In addition, EMDR has been used to treat individuals with depression, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

What happens in EMDR therapy?
First the therapist takes an individual’s history, and then the therapist and client decide which distressing experience(s) will be the target(s) of the exercise, delivered via a side-to-side visual stimulus requiring lateral eye movements. The client will be asked to activate thoughts, feelings, and any body sensations related to the troubling experience. The eye movements are said to reduce the emotional charge of the memory, so that the experience can then be safely discussed with the therapist and digested, minimizing its ability to trigger anxiety.
