I am a caring, compassionate therapist who has worked extensively with preteens, adolescents and adults struggling with mental health difficulties, conflict, and adjustment problems, including difficult life transitions, grief and bereavement. In addition, I provide a supportive environment for couples/marital counseling. I am also well-versed in assisting individuals who provide care for loved ones with life-threatening illnesses/conditions, special needs and/or disabilities. I have worked with children and teens in non-public special education settings, with at-risk youth in a group-home environment, and with adults/teens in an outpatient counseling center, offering mental health as well as addictions counseling.

Christlyn McCaskill, ATR-BC, LCPAT, LCPC, Sheena Anthony, LGPC, and Rachel Scholnick, LMSW are available to work with teens and adults struggling with mood, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and more, both in-person and virtually. We offer clients a safe space to discover, explore, and process. Christlyn has special skills with trauma work and art therapy. Sheena uses Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Rachel uses a strengths-based, collaborative approach, and especially works with grief, and women's issues.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). My child focuses are in ADHD, autism, special education, anxiety, and trauma, while adults are complex trauma, attachment disorders, and first responders. My goal as a counselor is to compassionately help you with processing, healing, and understanding your emotional, behavioral, psychological, and cultural self as a whole mind and body approach. I utilizes creative expressive therapy, humanistic, and positive-solution focus within a cognitive behavioral therapy approach.

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor, and I have been providing individual and family therapy services to children, teenagers, adults, and families for over 20 years. I began my current practice in order to provide a more private and comfortable place for my clients and to be able to more fully meet their needs. My goal is to provide a welcoming, compassionate, comfortable and safe place for individuals and families to receive help. Every family and every individual is unique, and I enjoy tailoring my treatment methods to the specific needs of each client and/or family.

My approach to counseling is a strengths based one. I specialize in treating children, teenagers and adults. I have advanced training in play therapy, ABA therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma. I believe that when people are going through serious life events they can change for the better with active listening, empathy, unconditional acceptance and the use of an eclectic approach to meet the patients individual needs.

I believe that anyone who wants to make a change in their life can do it. My style is laid back, with an emphasis on listening and getting to know the client on their own terms, and assisting them with self expression when needed. My orientation is self psychological and relational. For some issues, I find that a more structured, directed approach is helpful. I have recently incorporated DBT skills groups into my practice.

Our counseling service was developed to serve the needs of those who desire professional therapy outside traditional appointment hours and settings. We meet these needs by offering appointments late evenings, Saturday, teletherapy, and home visits.  Currently we provide Individual, Family, & Couples Therapy.
