Blending Psychodynamic & Narrative therapies, we'll uncover old patterns and rewrite your story.
What does it mean to truly know yourself? To me, therapy isn’t about fitting into a neat, pre-packaged box; it’s about discovering who you are when the old scripts no longer work. I balance an analytical, perceptive mind with a naturally warm, empathetic presence. Together, we will create a space where you can safely unpack your heaviest burdens without fear of judgment, uncovering the deep insights that are already within you. Your well-being is deeply connected to your history, your environment, and your physical body. I also have a particular affinity for working with artists, activists, and other healing professionals.

Are you struggling with symptoms that seem unmanageable? Are you looking for a way to learn and engage simple practices that can improve your overall well-being? If so, I offer my services. I became a social worker in an effort to reach individuals, like myself, that needed a judgment free third person to listen and reassure that not one person needs to be alone in the world. I understand that everyone has strengths as well as stress and both can be used toward creating a successful life.

I draw from a comprehensive toolkit, utilizing CBT and ACT for practical tools, alongside IFS and Psychodynamic therapy to explore how your past, unconscious patterns, and internal parts interact with your present-day reality.
While major life milestones like finishing college or launching a career are often celebrated, the reality is that these transitions can be deeply disorienting. I specialize in helping adults 18+, students, and early-career professionals navigate the "stuckness" that often accompanies these shifts. Whether you are grappling with imposter syndrome, decision paralysis, or the heavy weight of existential doubt, it is common to feel like everyone else has it figured out while you are struggling to find your footing. My goal is to help you untangle these fears, easing the pressure to perform and helping you build a life to thrive in.

Are intimacy challenges holding you back from the deep connections you deserve? Whether it's in your relationship with yourself, your partner, or your family, emotional wounds can quietly erode intimacy, leaving you feeling disconnected or unfulfilled. These challenges are often normalized, but healing is possible!

That said, I most often pull from my training in psychodynamic theory, teach coping strategies from mindfulness theory and focus on solutions to help you feel better sooner, with a clearer perspective on your situation.
In my experience, people often come to therapy because they are at a crossroads in their life. They may be uncertain about what to do about an important relationship, worried about their use of alcohol, in despair about having lost a loved one, or just needing to talk about the various stressors in their lives. I help people by working with them to better understand the issues that they are facing, the family history that may be influencing them and how to better understand themselves and more skillfully navigate their relationships. In my experience, therapy can help people find peace, even in challenging times.

We’ll work to build a collaborative relationship through person centered, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches.
Now accepting new Telehealth clients! “I’m responsible. I’m not good enough. I’m a burden.” These messages replay in your mind during conflict, in relationships, at your job, or in your day to day. These thoughts make it hard to set boundaries in your family or relationships, pursue your interests, passions, or personal goals without guilt, or feel connected to your emotions. These core beliefs developed throughout your life but they do not have to define your present.

Psychodynamic Therapists
Is psychodynamic therapy evidence-based?
Studies have found psychodynamic therapy to be effective in treating conditions like social anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, some personality disorders, and depression; indeed, some studies have found it to be just as effective as CBT or medication. What’s more, several studies have found that the benefits of psychodynamic therapy tend to endure—even grow—long after treatment has ended.

How long does psychodynamic therapy last?
Unlike CBT and other more structured forms of therapy, psychodynamic therapy tends to be open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a year or longer and to see their therapist one to three times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a client’s challenges and progress. However, brief psychodynamic therapy is available, which tends to be more goal-oriented and typically unfolds over 16 to 30 sessions.

Does psychodynamic therapy work?
Research finds that psychodynamic therapy can help someone manage or reduce symptoms of diagnosable mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. The modality may also offer a range of benefits that are harder to measure but just as valuable—such as increased self-worth or healthier relationships. While no therapy type will work for everyone, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that psychodynamic therapy can be highly effective.

What are the limitations of psychodynamic therapy?
Some meta-analyses have concluded that there is little evidence to suggest that psychodynamic therapy can effectively treat certain mental health conditions such as PTSD, OCD, or psychosis, though it is sometimes used to do so. More broadly, the open-ended, free-association structure of psychodynamic therapy may be frustrating for clients who prefer a more structured, time-limited, or goal-oriented approach.
