Accepting new patients in person or Telehealth. Everyone reaches a point in their lives where they are presented with unique challenges and obstacles to face and overcome. These challenges may have been present since childhood, the result of trauma or an unplanned life-altering event. These events can cause anxiety, depression, difficulties in performance of school, work or career, relationships, and overall quality of life. I work across the ages with children as young as 3 to adults.

I am here to create a safe and trusting environment that allows clients to unload their thoughts and emotions. Empowering them in a genuine, straightforward, and relaxed atmosphere to step into the brave space where they are able to find their truth, speak it, and live it. My integrative approach is tailored to each client. During this process the client learns how to accept where they are in this moment. Then identifying and making changes to get to where they want to be. This allows them to free themselves from the persistent negative thoughts and societal pressures holding them back from living the life they have always wanted.

I started my work at an outpatient healthcare clinic in Baltimore City primarily assisting those who were unhoused. During this work, I partnered with many diverse individuals. As I got to know them and our relationships developed, I realized how valuable it was to spend time with them in their communities and to understand their backgrounds. I developed a deep appreciation of how challenging it can be to share your story with others. Because of this, I feel strongly committed to continuing my work with individuals who are struggling with life changes or other long-term traumas.

As humans, we all experience hurt, overwhelm, and uncertainty at times. Many of us have had traumatic upbringings that have altered our perceptions of life. Sometimes, we feel as if our past doesn't affect us but somehow we still feel defeated, hopeless, and controlled by difficult emotions, such as sadness, anger, and anxiety. I believe that unresolved trauma and other issues can hinder our progression and cause us to become trapped in cycles that we are unsatisfied with. Because of this, I work diligently to help connect the dots between past and present experiences to facilitate understanding, acceptance, and growth.

Have you found yourself having a hard time with your relationships? Are you wondering if it’s you? Are you experiencing loss – divorce, friendships, miscarriage, abortion, house? Do you struggle to get out of bed? Show up for work? Skipping events? As a woman who has experienced all of these things, I discovered the best version of myself sitting anxiously in the client’s seat of my therapist’s office. It was one of the most difficult things I'd ever done. But doing so has been the most uncomfortable and equally rewarding thing I’ve ever done for myself- because therapy, if you stick with it and do the work, is the gift that keeps o

Life always has a way of throwing curveballs at us and tries to get us to the point of breaking. I am a firm believer that nobody walking this Earth is broken and that everyone has the capability to heal and feel whole again. Many times, in order to achieve this, we need a little assistance, a gentle hand, encouragement and support. I am passionate about helping those reach their full potential and I am passionate about working in this field. I truly enjoy watching people heal, grow and have their "Ah-ha" moments during sessions. I chose this field ultimately to give a voice for the voiceless, to take away stereotypes of youth and t

Putting yourself first can be one of the most difficult things one can do. If you have found yourself here, that means you have made a decision to invest in your well-being as a whole; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Facing struggles in life can be scary for everyone! I believe that with the right tools and a deeper understanding of oneself, we can all move through life with more compassion for ourselves and others.

You’re the strong one: always doing, always achieving; yet secretly exhausted. You’ve survived childhood trauma, and your ability to overfunction helped you survive. But now, you're dealing with anxiety, overwhelm, negative self-talk and needing more support. You want to stop just surviving and start healing, learn how to rest, be present, and reconnect with your inner child. I’d be honored to serve as your therapist as you begin to untangle any negative internalized beliefs, reconnect with your inner wisdom, joy, and embrace the fullness of who you REALLY are.
