Every individual has a unique story and personal journey that begins at a specific point in their life. Along this journey, we inevitably face various challenges that can distract us, derail our progress, or add extra burdens. Engaging in self-exploration during this process can help us find our way back on track and reduce these burdens. Whether dealing with stress, anxiety, or transitional phases in life, adopting a growth mindset and staying motivated to improve our mental well-being can be crucial for achieving our goals.

Making a decision to begin the journey of therapy takes courage, commitment, and the willingness to change. It is not an easy decision, but well worth the effort and with much to gain. I will provide you with a safe haven to explore obstacles impacting your ability to succeed and make lasting changes in your daily life. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and multidimensional. I use a myriad of approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, and mindfulness-based techniques.

Life is full of ups and downs — we all know that. But sometimes, it can feel like we’re running a marathon that seems to go on forever. We start to feel stressed, burnt out, and hopeless. We may find ourselves wondering, "What happened to my relationship?", "Why can’t I stop repeating this unhealthy behavior?", "Wasn’t this new job supposed to make things better?" Whether it’s our work, relationships, or simply our own quirks getting in the way of our well-being, there comes a time when our confusion and pain become too much to bear alone. We feel like giving up and often don’t know where to go for support.

You’re feeling stuck, despite functioning on the outside. Maybe compulsive and addictive behaviors keep resurfacing, no matter how hard you try to stop them, or you find yourself running on coffee and self-criticism just to get through the day before crashing. You might look put-together, yet feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly on edge. You’ve likely tried coping tools, self-help, or past therapy. You understand what you should be doing, but something deeper still hasn’t shifted, leaving you feeling frustrated, discouraged, and exhausted. If this sounds like you, you're not broken- and you're not alone.

Accepting new clients in June 2026! My client centered approach focuses on the individual narrative, working to unpack challenges a person has had over time and working to increase self-awareness and self-acceptance. Whether it is constant fear of a missed deadline, an upcoming social interaction, struggling with overwhelming sensory information, or managing grief and loss, these different struggles can feel difficult to manage. I love working with clients who are keen to understand why their emotions feel complex, confusing, or why they struggle to fit into the norms of society.

Let’s face it, life has a tendency to wear us all down--be it the death of a loved one, illness, traumatic experiences, or even just the demands of everyday life. As a result, we might find ourselves plagued by chronic stress, anxiety, or depression. Perhaps you find yourself feeling hopeless, trapped, or isolated. Maybe you’ve felt as though you've been merely surviving life, instead of actually living it. If so, know that you are not alone, and change is possible! I’m extremely passionate and dedicated to helping my clients heal, improve their lives, and reach their personal goals.

I approach treatment from a worldview that believes individuals are unique and gifted, created with meaning and purpose, and made to have a relationship with God and others. Because of brokenness in ourselves and in the world, we experience conflict and struggle, often severe enough to impact our ability to function each day and find joy in living. When we are able to understand our experiences in context of what is true, healing begins.

I am actively in my deconstruction era and have been embracing the application of intersectional feminist theory in my work with clients. My ideal clients tend to be LGBTQIA+, women/non-binary, and interested in understanding how the systems we live in shape their relationships- with themselves and others. I focus on a mix of individual decision-making grounded in community building with a core bias towards relationships as the foundation in which we can know ourselves and be truly known by others. I prefer to see clients individually and pull in important loved ones as needed.
