Openings available! Do you want to change the way you feel or the behavior patterns that don't work for you? My goal is to provide hope and encouragement, helping those who feel lost to discover a renewed sense of purpose and direction. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a well-established method that focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. By highlighting unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns and learning how to replace these patterns with healthier, more productive ways of thinking and acting, people are able to make lasting changes in their lives.

Do you have concerns about your ability to cope with anger, anxiety, career transitions, and/or intimacy and interpersonal issues? Are you feeling disconnected? Often, we can find ourselves in a “life loop” that can make us feel like we’re on autopilot. Sometimes those feelings of anger, anxiety, and disconnection can feel so strong that we feel isolated and alone. But the truth is that you are not alone and do not have to navigate those issues by yourself. You can free yourself of your issues! You can live the life that you desire!

Something is not working — in your relationship, in your intimacy, or in how you feel about yourself as a partner or sexual person. You may have tried to address it on your own, or avoided the conversation entirely. Either way, reaching out takes courage, and it is the right first step. I work with couples navigating conflict, betrayal, loss of intimacy, and the slow drift that builds in long-term relationships. I also work with individuals — primarily men — addressing erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low desire, and out-of-control sexual behavior. Whatever brought you here, you do not have to keep navigating it alone.

For me personally, I find that any client is an ideal client. Every individual has within them their own internal timeline, mechanism, and capacity for change that is inherently correct for them. I do my best to respect this as a clinician. I do ask for an honest accounting of oneself to the best of their ability. If this is successfully reached, then the possibility for healing and moving forward from mental anguish is possible. It is my professional belief that when both the client and the therapist are fully open to the process that the work truly begins.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating. It can be a grounded, honest conversation with someone who understands what you’re navigating—and helps you move forward. I work primarily with men facing stress, anxiety, OCD, substance use concerns, and questions around identity and masculinity. Many of my clients are in major life transitions, especially the shift into parenthood—a season that can bring unexpected challenges like changes in self-esteem, relationship strain, loss of freedom, and feeling unsure of who you are now.

We all get to a point where the suffering becomes more than we can handle, and we all have to find ways to cope with it. My goal is to help relieve people of suffering caused by maladaptive patterns of feeling, thinking and behaving that they have been conditioned to repeat over time. I do this by building a relationship with them, then allowing that relationship to be the template for healthy interactions in life and a realistic perception of themselves and their situation.

My practice is primarily geared towards adults & I have particular expertise in men's issues.
My ideal client is an individual who is motivated to change, but may be stuck in the process. I love working with invested people who desire more out of life. I feel very confident working with individuals who are challenged with depression and/or anxiety, but I most enjoy working with clients who are navigating difficult times in life (relationships, employment, general life changes, etc.). I want to work with people who are intent on learning and growing in a positive direction.

You may be feeling anxious, stuck, or uncertain about the direction your life is heading. Perhaps you’re navigating a major life change, wrestling with questions of identity, or trying to make sense of patterns that keep repeating. You might look like you “have it all together,” yet inside you feel disconnected or weighed down by stress, expectations, or unhealed pain. Maybe you’re facing a major life transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or carrying the weight of past trauma. I work with adults who are ready to take a deeper look at their lives and heal from within.

As children, we are learning from interactions with our parents who we are and how to fit into the world around us. After we leave home, we become our own parents as we continue to learn about ourselves and how to find our own place in life. And when we have families of our own, we are now parents both for our children and for ourselves, as we continue to understand more about who we are. I provide a warm, empathic and accepting environment where you can explore your current life challenges, as well as address past issues that impact your everyday life.

Humans are meaning-making creatures, and I understand psychotherapy as an opportunity to turn distress and suffering into self-knowledge that allows us to live rich, dynamic lives. When symptoms limit our capacity to thrive and enjoy life, attention must be brought to the layers of experience that have shaped our minds and our identities. I believe that therapy is an opportunity for collaborative reflection and the therapeutic relationship is a primary source of healing and change.

Therapy should feel like a safe space to explore, grow, and heal. Whether or not you’re new to therapy, I will meet you where you’re at with patience and without judgement. I have deep respect for and recognize the cultural, relational, and systematic barriers that uniquely shape each person’s journey.

I view the therapeutic relationship as a site of healing, growth, and change. Taking a collaborative approach, I create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where we can explore aspects of your life that are calling to your attention. We'll work to identify places you’re feeling stuck, draw connections between past and present, and unearth the wisdom and healing potential within you. Along the way, we'll consider the stories you carry, your somatic experience, and whatever arises for you in the moment, all in service of coming into deeper relationship with yourself.

We are warm and kind, boldly working with you in a natural, human way. We clarify how you think and feel, and we don't avoid the hard stuff. We won't let you get away with that, which will be a little uncomfortable sometimes, but we're going to work together to get to the real truth with you... the real truth about how you think and feel and what is behind why your life feels the way that it does. Importantly too... what to do with that!

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve spent a long time being strong for others, pushing through pain, or feeling misunderstood. I believe therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and safe enough for honesty (even the messy parts). My style is warm, affirming, and direct. I balance compassion with gentle challenge, humor when appropriate, and a strong belief in your ability to grow. I don’t believe in shaming or “fixing” people, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, break unhelpful patterns, and build a life that feels more aligned and sustainable.
