For over eight years, I've had the privilege to work with children & adolescents who struggle with managing a variety of mental health disorders, such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and more. Most of them have a history of trauma exposures, including community violence, grief/loss, abuse, or separation/divorce. These life experiences often cloud their worldview and judgement as well as their ability to trust others and capacity to regulate their emotions in order to cope with these challenges. They yearn for new social, communication, conflict resolution and coping skills to apply every day so they can live happier, healthier lives.

Are you struggling with life's challenges? Have you tried coping skills, and thirst for a deeper awareness and understanding of who you are, where you came from, and what makes you tick? If you have experienced some anxiety or depression, then please realize you are not alone, and sharing the burden within the therapeutic context can help make sense of your struggles, and release the weight you have been holding for so long.

Does it feel like anxiety, worry, and stress have taken over your life? Our minds can seem scary and overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be that way forever. I help motivated individuals reduce anxiety and obsessive compulsive (OCD) symptoms; overcome life stressors and get unstuck, and effectively manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and feelings, using evidence based therapies like CBT, ERP, and ACT. My clients are hard working and successful professionals looking for guidance, direction, and support to feel better and experience lasting change.

Most men we work with are high-functioning on the outside but running on overload internally. Professionals, business owners, and leaders who have been pushing through stress, anxiety, irritability, or relationship strain for years. What brings them in isn’t curiosity—it’s friction. Work feels heavier, relationships feel more strained, patience is shorter, and the strategies that used to work stop working. They’re not looking to be analyzed—they’re looking to get back in control.

Welcome to my page. As a Clinical Social Worker I have been helping women of all ages for the past 18+ years. Some of the areas that I specialize in are relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, cancer and trauma. I am here to compassionately listen and support you. Sometimes that’s actually all we need, is to have someone who is present with us listening, and then validates us. One of my goals in therapy, is to provide a space that feels safe to you, and then this is where the healing can begin.

My clients often look like they are holding it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or exhausted underneath. They may be navigating trauma, identity questions, relationship patterns, family stress, life transitions, low motivation, or difficulty following through. Many are thoughtful and self-aware but still feel caught in patterns they cannot fully explain. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and begin moving forward with more clarity and self-trust.

My ideal client feels stuck in anxiety or disconnected in their relationship. They may overthink, struggle to express needs, or feel caught in the same arguments with their partner. They want relief, clarity, and deeper emotional connection—because they’re tired of surviving and ready to feel more present, secure, and fulfilled in their life and relationships.

“Therapy is like being presented with two different paths, and choosing the road less taken” We are all products of our personal experiences. This is what makes each of us unique, coming into treatment with our own story. Im interested in hearing your story, helping you discover new ways to navigate your life. Each individual needs a different approach in treatment, and my goal is to individualize the process to help you reach your personal goal. It would be my privilege to work with you so we can together reach emotional wellness.

Jewish Therapists
Why is it important for a therapist to be culturally sensitive?
Therapists and clients don’t need to share the same background to be able to work together, but a therapist whose training includes a focus on cultural competence may be better able to form a therapeutic bond with individuals from a range of backgrounds, as they will have experience tailoring their approach to each client—and will be prepared to acknowledge and consider the effects of cultural forces, such as discrimination, that may contribute to that client’s concerns. With a professional who has such training, a client should feel comfortable discussing sensitive issues without feeling that they need to self-censor.

How can I recognize an effective Jewish therapist?
As with members of any religious or ethnic group, just because two people happen to be Jewish does not guarantee that they will share the same values, knowledge, or experiences. A Jewish client seeking a therapist who shares their cultural identity, or for whom it’s important that a therapist share their religious beliefs, may want to discuss a professional’s Jewish background with them before beginning therapy. For someone who seeks justification for major life changes in their religious tradition, or in biblical writings, finding a therapist who is comfortable framing guidance in that context may be especially valuable.

Would a Jewish therapist have unique training?
No, but they should have the same training and certification as any other mental health professional, as well as experience with a range of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or mindfulness-based therapy. A therapist with this type of experience should be able to help any client feel comfortable and safe, which is essential for a therapeutic alliance. Once this is established, a potential client may want to find out more about the therapist’s Jewish background.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience with Jewish clients?
A client can directly ask a therapist if they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and if so, whether these individuals sought counseling for faith-related issues or marital or familial issues in which their Jewish background was a factor. A client may also wish to ask a potential therapist whether they incorporate Jewish teachings and values into their own professional work.

Who is included in Psychology Today’s directory of Jewish therapists?
The directory of Jewish therapists includes professionals who have opted to share their cultural background on their profiles. However, not all therapists choose to disclose their background, and they may not appear in search results for this reason. The directory also shows therapists who indicate that they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and/or communities.
