Contact via email Highly Preferred! My top three clinical interests include working with individuals practicing consensual non-monogamy and BDSM, creative professionals, and individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, utilizing motivational Interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). How we think influences the foundations of our behavior. Every person who comes onto my screen or into my office has their freedom, individuality, and autonomy accepted because that is what every person deserves.

Counseling requires a commitment of time, resources, and effort that can be hard to carve out in these busy times. My focus is on using our sessions to help you make the desired changes as efficiently as possible. We are working to get you unstuck and moving in a better direction. With that in mind, I use a goal-focused, strategic counseling model. This process works well if you are truly ready for change but may not know how to get there.

You are brave, curious and brilliant but feel like you are an imposter and never good enough. You have tried people pleasing and a relentless pursuit of self-improvement strategies but can’t shake off the feeling of not being worthy. You long for true belonging, confidence and to live your most authentic expression by releasing old patterns that no longer serve you. You are not alone. I believe that we all have inherent within us expansive wisdom, and capacity to heal. We can't always access our truest Self because of past trauma, societal pressures and habitual patterns that keep us disengaged from our true nature.

Cigna and Evernorth Therapists
Cigna and its healthcare division Evernorth provide behavioral health coverage though managed care plans and Medicare Advantage plans. Outside the U.S., Cigna provides insurance through Cigna Global Health Benefits.

Cigna and Evernorth HMO plans only cover services from in-network providers and require a referral from your primary care physician. EPO plans also utilize in-network providers but generally do not require a PCP referral. PPO plans offer the most flexibility and a larger network of providers, and may include some out of network benefits.

Occasionally Cigna or Evernorth Therapists in Baltimore will only accept a limited number of in-network insurance patients in their practice, so it's important to check if your plan is accepted when you book a consultation.

Based in Connecticut, Cigna insures 180 million people in more than 30 countries around the world. Cigna rebraded its health services division as Evernorth in September 2021.

Here’s a link to more information on how insurance works to cover behavioral health benefits.
