Seeking help when you are struggling is difficult but often necessary. With a goal directed approach, I help my clients develop and process measurable goals and coping skills for managing symptoms and life stresses. Though therapy is a process, many of my clients have reported improvement within a short amount of time. Think of therapy as an investment in your self.

My goal is to help you feel better. I offer teletherapy sessions to help you cope with depression, anxiety, stress (including stress relating to COVID-19), relationship issues, grief, age and health related issues etc.. I have been in practice for over 30 years and have worked with all age groups in private practice as well as in sub-acute rehabilitation, memory care units, in-patient psychiatric unit, nursing home and assisted living facilities. I do understand how difficult it can be to reach out to and open up to a stranger so I hope to make you feel as comfortable as I can in as short a time as possible.

I treat teenagers, college students, and adults with issues ranging from anxiety and mood disorders to adjusting to life changes (such as relationship challenges, new parenthood, aging, and chronic medical conditions). I balance evidence-based practices with building a comfortable relationship to allow patients to share concerns freely. After getting to know my patients and their circumstances, I work with them to identify where they may challenge their beliefs and try new strategies. Depending on your concerns, you might work with me on exposure therapy, social and communication skills, mindfulness, and emotion regulation.

I offer expert counseling services to adults. I assist clients in improving their daily lives through self exploration. I teach effective coping skills to individuals struggling with life transitions, symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and serious mental health challenges. I work with individuals at their own pace and level and help them identify their strengths, challenges and goals, and facilitate optimal growth and healing.
