I have deep compassion for those struggling with the disease of addiction. By utilizing my knowledge and empathy for these individuals, I am able to assist them in their therapeutic processes. I have over 10 years worth of experience within the mental health field, whether it be working with individuals in the criminal justice system or conducting individual, family therapy, and couples therapy. Hello, and thank you for taking the time and having the courage to seek out a counselor! To help you find your best fit, I work with adults, as individuals, couples, and groups. I work with people dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, grief/loss, suicide/self-harm, parenting, self-esteem, and abuse/neglect. While I specialize in Christian Counseling, I also work with many people who prefer not to incorporate their faith in the therapeutic process. My style tends to lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping people overcome self-defeating thought patterns. I’ve been in private practice for 20 years.

For over 20 years I have been involved in the mental health system and have had the privilege of helping individuals & families achieve their goals and overcome a variety of challenges (i.e. depression, anxiety, mood disorders, new transitions, relational, & substance abuse struggles). While speaking both English & Spanish languages, my hope is that each individual that I encounter will gain a better understanding of themselves, and also learn valuable skills to move forward towards a more fulfilling and flourishing life---to be able to find 'Peace of Mind'--within themselves and within their surroundings.
