I perform traditional talk therapy, but often supplement that with creative art modalities. I also do mindfulness meditation, imagery and yoga. I specialize in disordered eating, substance use, women's issues, self-esteem building, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, parenting issues, grief and loss, and life transitions.

I am a mature, older woman with a lifetime of experience that I draw on in my practice. I am an empathic, respectful, and careful listener. I also am a very active collaborator in the therapeutic process, sharing my insights when I think they will be helpful. I work eclectically, utilizing approaches to therapy that are trauma-informed, integrative, and experiential. I am trained in many different modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).

I intimately understand the challenges and complexities of addiction firsthand. Hello! Within my first few years of college, I finally figured out what I wanted to do as a career. I realized I wanted to help people through their own life obstacles, trauma, life stages, and more! I want to help others with their mental health and make their world a better place. As I continue to learn and grow throughout my professional career, I want to work with a variety of populations and ages. To me, counseling is a journey of being honest with who you are and who you want to present to the world. I specialize in life transitions, and everything that comes with them, throughout childhood, adolescents, young adulthood, and adulthood. This includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, anger, and substance misuse. I also have a breadth of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
