I’ve worked in in the mental health field for nearly 25 years, in inpatient and residential settings, as well as in the community. I’ve worked with diverse populations, primarily with adults of all ages, and also have experience working with adolescents who’ve experienced significant trauma. I’ve worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with severe anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation (and attempts), mood disorders, psychosis, borderline personality disorder, as well as intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental differences. I believe mental health services should be accessible to all and seek to make that a reality.

I am a Licensed Psychologist and the Clinical Director of Sollars and Associates Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. Our group is trained in dealing with a variety of issues including: Attention Deficit Disorder, School Difficulties, Interpersonal Issues such as bullying, adult ADD and related issues, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Mood Disorders, Grief and Loss, Parenting, Educational Concerns, Relationship Concerns, Career and Work Issues, and Sexual Issues.

To ask for help is to be vulnerable, and that's not easy! It's okay to not be okay! I enjoy working closely with individuals to help with learning, developing, and implementing techniques to overcome life’s struggles. I provide counseling services to adolescents and adults. I have worked with individuals with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illnesses, Anxiety, Depression and Trauma. My passion is working with individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and lack self-confidence. As a therapist, I strive to work with everyone, accept everyone, and meet everyone where they are at with treatment.
