Hello, I am a counselor in training under Ragan Killen Cook, LPC. M.S. Ed. I offer $30 weekly counseling sessions as well as a Free LGBT+ Counseling Skills Group that meets Wednesdays at 7:30 online. I mainly work with teens and adults. I specialize in working with members of the LGBT+ community (I am also a member of the community). I have experience working with individuals who have issues with mood, anxiety, complex trauma, depression, disability, ADHD, autism, PTSD, and suicidal ideation.
I am dedicated to the principles of social justice and am committed to creating a safe space where individuals can be their authentic selves. In my office, you choose what you’d like to address and what is off-limits. Counseling is a space to explore and process what you want. You are the only expert of yourself, and we will take things at your speed.
I use an eclectic combination of Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered approaches. You will work well with me if you want a therapist who won't just sit and offer you kind words and nothing else. I believe that therapy is a place to work on your problems and get support in whatever way you need.
