Many parents of infants and young children feel overwhelmed navigating early trauma, attachment disruptions, adoption and postpartum stress. I believe behavior is communication. Healing and connection are possible, even early in life!

At Anchored Through Storms Counseling, I provide trauma-informed, play based therapy for young children (ages 0–12) and their caregivers. I slow things down, create safety, and help you understand what’s beneath your child’s behavior. Your child will learn coping skills as you learn parenting tools. My mission is to help families find steadiness in the midst of Iife's storms. I offer a gentle space where parents and children feel seen and supported. Kids usually end up in my office with big behaviors after experiencing life changes, adoption or trauma. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that fits you and your family.
