I aim to create space that allows clients to be their authentic selves as they grapple with the challenges of past traumas and present hardships. Too often people feel as though they are experiencing pain alone. I strongly believe in the therapeutic alliance and the uniqueness that is co-created within the supportive relational space. Together we can understand and integrate one’s trauma, strengthen one's self-confidence and deepen insight.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I specialize in working with people who have survived childhood trauma, predominantly sexual violence. I also offer sex offense specific treatment to those who have engaged in sexually abusive behaviors. Additionally, I work with people who identify as LGBTQI+ and those living with HIV.
My training is in Psychodynamic Theory and Intersectionality. In practice, I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
