I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I provide telehealth psychotherapy for California residents. My goal is to offer a supportive environment where you can fully express yourself, gain insight, and take steps toward personal growth. I use dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This approach is hands-on and gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Based on your unique needs, I may include practices like mindfulness and medication. Your goals and progress are my primary focus.
I work with adults who are managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, PTSD, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues. I have many years of experience in crisis intervention for clients in distress and in supporting individuals who have experienced severe loss through family separation with the child welfare and criminal court system.
I have excellent verbal communication skills, and my multicultural competency and ability to see different perspectives enable me to meet people where they are. I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
