My Goal as a therapist is to guide clients in taking steps to overcoming their obstacles in order for them to live more of a life they want to live. I obtained my Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan with the goal of helping others. It is rewarding to see my clients make regular progress at their own pace. I have extensive experience in the child welfare system. I have worked with children, adults, and families in foster care and adoption in various counties in Michigan court system. My desire is to help people work through their emotional blockages to live their full potential.
I like to explore various points of view in order to seek true understanding of the client and their relationship to their issues. I can assist you in helping understand what your needs are and how to get them met. We often suppress the emotions we don't want to feel. I help you understand your emotions rather than have them work against you.
