About
I am a relational therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. I create a warm and accepting space for you to share your issues and help develop a vision of your desired outcome with a plan for how to achieve it. I help identify what's getting in the way of you having the life you want and provide support as you experiment with making changes as you are ready. I focus on behavioral changes first and move to insight and family of origin work as needed. Feel free to call me to discuss your needs (708) 808-3654.
I was trained at The Family Institute of Northwestern University in integrative systemic therapy which incorporates the most essential components of all therapies. I am specially trained to work with individuals, couples and families in a way that takes into account and can include their relationships with others.
I enjoy working with clients of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds and have a special interest in identity development including racial, sexual and gender identity. I practice mindfulness, meditation, and guided imaging and find these methods to be helpful to many clients.
