Folks often go to therapy looking for answers. Why am I feeling stuck? Why can't I turn my brain off? Why don't I like myself? The intention of the therapeutic process is to draw out what you already know. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, which means establishing a strong, empathetic therapeutic relationship is a critical element of my practice. I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported while we work toward your goals.
I view the world through a feminist and anti-colonial lens. These principles are always present as I primarily utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques, but my goal is to find the tools that work best for you. Therapy isn't a copy/paste process.
I'm passionate about working with LGBTQ+ folks, poly folks, couples, sex workers, and members of the kink community. As a neurodivergent person myself, I love helping fellow "alternative brains" work though living in a world not built for us.
