About
Often I work with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, past traumas, life transitions. Sometimes, we just want to understand ourselves better. In my practice you have the opportunity to explore these issues and to find ways to meet your goals and needs. I'm a multicultural and bilingual psychotherapist with 20 years of experience. I work with a diverse group of individuals from all walks of life. I have worked in different settings during my career: community outpatient clinics, emergency psychiatry, inpatient, research. I have done post-graduate training to refine my clinical skills, become a better therapist.
My approach is client centered, so we work together in developing treatment goals. I am a psychoanalytically trained psychotherapist. Thus, I believe it is helpful to explore understand how our histories shape our personalities and behaviors.
