I primarily work with children, adolescents, and teenagers who may be struggling with anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, social difficulties, or the everyday stress that comes with growing up. Sometimes children know exactly what's bothering them, while other times they simply know that something doesn't feel right. Parents often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed themselves, wondering how best to support their child. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, and parents feel like they have a partner in the process.
Working with kids has always felt natural to me. As the oldest in a large extended family, I was the built-in babysitter and mentor. By 12, I was coaching youth lacrosse, and my "therapy career" may have started even earlier with very unofficial third-grade neighborhood counseling sessions.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure it out alone. My goal is to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and confident being themselves while parents feel supported every step of the way. I'd be honored to be part of your family's journey.
