My interest and passion for counseling began during my time as a career Air Force soldier / veteran. While serving in the military, I had the pleasure of working with victims of assault and domestic violence. This sparked my interest for serving others through counseling and support. Following my retirement from a 23-year military service career, I went on to earn a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor.
I am passionate about being able to work with children of all ages and hope to be able to help them overcome a variety of challenges. I firmly believe that with the proper supports, all children can be successful and healthy. I am looking forward to being a part of that support system for the children I will have the pleasure of serving.
In my spare time, I love cooking, watching television and movies, meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. For the past 32 years, I have joyfully partnered with my husband and fellow Air-Force soldier / veteran, and together, we have raised our two, amazing, adult daughters.
