It’s my joy to assist people as they find their way to balance, wholeness and a life that is meaningful to them and in line with their values. It is my belief that life brings all of us situations that are challenging, whether slightly difficult or seemingly insurmountable. During these times it can be helpful to have someone present with us and truly hear us, for being truly seen and heard, in and of itself, can be healing and therapeutic. I seek to help my clients gain awareness, understanding, and clarity as they go through challenges and find new ways to navigate life that are appropriate for them and align with their values.
Counseling is an individual process, not a “one size fits all”. All come to therapy with their own concerns, goals and personal history. Interventions that are best suited vary from person to person, and I work with this in mind. I am also a certified yoga therapist and use breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation when appropriate.
Providing an environment of unconditional acceptance, honesty and respect so all feel safe and so that trust can grow between client and therapist is of utmost importance to me.
