I have been treating individuals, couples and families for over 35 years and I enjoy my work very much. I consider it to be a responsibility and a privilege to help people to face their issues, and to help them to find solutions that work best for them. In therapy, we explore your thoughts, feelings and personal patterns. Knowing more about yourself, helps with decision-making and helps you to live life in a full and meaningful way.
Life presents all of us with an array of issues. How we deal with these issues, is what comes to define us. My intention is to create an atmosphere that feels safe and supportive. My style tends to be an active one, providing feedback when I believe that it will be helpful to facilitate growth.
Over the years, I have worked with adults of all ages, struggling with depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I have worked with many couples, helping them repair difficult communication patterns and address the many challenges that can come along with long term relationships. Additionally, I have worked extensively in the area of divorce adjustment.
