Welcome, I am glad you made it! My name is Maxie. I have found a love of working alongside individuals who find themselves struggling with finding purpose and identity. Whether you are a new parent working your way back to yourself (or your partner), a teen struggling with depression, anxiety, or finding your sense of self, or maybe you're someone who struggles with grief and loss, I am ready to walk with you through it.
I believe that healing begins once we can be honest with ourselves. Although my approach is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, I am also authentic, direct, and honest with my clients. I work with and for you. My job as your therapist is to not just help you to get past your hardships but help you feel prepared to be able to handle future ones.
I use a combination of person-centered, strength-based, CBT, and EMDR treatments depending on the personal treatment plan we create together to reach your goals. You don't need to do hard things alone. I am ready to get started when you are.
