My name is Max, and I am an Asheville-based counselor. I am honored to work with people from all walks of life, and specialize in providing therapy to adolescents and young-adults (ages 12-25). As a male counselor and therapist I am particularly skilled at helping young men identify difficulties in their lives and learn how to appropriately address them. I offer both long-term counseling, as well as solution focused brief therapy. I completely understand that navigating the adolescent and early-adulthood years can be extremely difficult (for both parent and child) and I am here to help...
I have spent the last 20 years helping individuals, families, and couples in Western North Carolina (and internationally). I specialize in working with young-people through a number of issues which include: anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, anger, divorce, relationship issues, grief/loss, life-transition issues, academic challenges, etc.
