This quote encapsulates my sensitive, inviting, and unique approach to psychotherapy. I work with a variety of patients, and specialize in therapy for young adults, as well as therapy for psychotherapists and other helping professionals. I listen sensitively, towards an unbiased understanding of you and your story. Together we will explore, leaving you with a better understanding of yourself.
My clinical work is centered in Psychodynamic and Relational Theories. My training was at Columbia University. Since, I have worked in several clinical settings, and now see patients, supervise, and teach therapists as the Assistant Director of South Shore Counseling. I also teach graduate courses in psychotherapy at Long Island University.
We will collaborate to find the approach that works best for you. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, and my clients often describe my style as "warm, empathetic, different, and personal."
