My greatest passion is performing my duties as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My ideal clients seek mental health treatment that allow them to heal. My goal is to help clients achieve desired and realistic changes, using their strengths and resources to achieve a full functioning life. I offer a calm and supportive environment where you can safely work through experiences and begin to heal. My focus is goal directed, purposeful and problem centered with a warm, and deep positive unconditional regard. My approach offers a space to process experiences and move toward emotional balance and resilience.
I practice active listening, pay full attention, and acknowledge my client's feelings without judgment. I incorporate client centered, tailored techniques including: cognitive behavioral, problem solving, family and bereavement therapy. I specialize in anxiety disorders, grief/losses, family issues, behavior problems, and other serious mental health issues.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, but often is the first step to healing. I try to imagine what it feels like in your space, and treat others as I would like to be treated.
