My name is Maverick Tang and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Professional based out of Washington State. I completed my graduate studies through Tulane School of Social Work, where I obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree along with a Certificate in Disaster & Collective Trauma. I work with adults on building motivation, skills, and resources to overcome the challenges we encounter in life.
My communication style is strengths-based, client-centered, and change-focused. My training in Motivational Interviewing highlights the importance of building a therapeutic partnership through asking open-ended questions, remaining curious, and having a healthy dose of humor.
