Getting to know my clients and their challenges makes my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist both rewarding and stimulating. Understanding what a person has been through and seeing their vision of their future is my goal. Collaborating with clients on their treatment plan and supporting their goals is an important part of my practice. I want clients to know they are welcomed and have found a safe space to express whatever is on their mind or in their heart.
Helping people make good decisions, being attentive, problem solving when needed, allowing someone to just be in the moment are just some of the services I offer to clients. Each client is different and so are their needs. Each client is treated with a tailored approach to accomplish what they want from therapy.
I am trained in structural family and gestalt therapy. I have attended trainings in family constellations and worked for a number of years with an agency that treated domestic abuse. I have treated numerous families that have had contact with DCF. Parent education is a service I offer along with working with parent/adolescent conflict.
