The ideal client is one who wants to better understand their inner self. They come ready to examine their own processes and try on new behaviors.They want to feel better in their own skin and get along better with those around them. .
My approach is a systemic one. Providing a safe environment to examine and explore will allow the client to breathe. The process of greater self understanding will result in change if the client practices new ways of being.
I realize seeking therapy is hard. It involves courage and faith, trust and willingness. It has been my experience that when clients have a safe space of exploration, they discover thoughts and feelings they didn't know they had. Seeking therapy is a healthy response to challenging times and challenging relationships. I look forward to hearing from you.
