I work with clients who come to therapy to find relief from suffering. Often they have experienced early childhood conditions that led to attachment and relational disorders, experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar and other mental health issues. I specialize in working with teen or adult victims of childhood trauma who have chronic physical and mental health disorders. I also offer Clinical Supervision for Associated MFTs.
My goal for all my clients is to help them to reconnect to their own inner wisdom, enabling them to heal their emotional wounds and lead fulfilling lives. I'm heart-centered and interactive, and combine psychodynamic and other work with mindfulness-based CBT to address the emotional scars of trauma as well as the distorted beliefs and behaviors that result.
I have had my own journey healing from the wounds of childhood trauma to living a fulfilling, contented life. I understand and feel the pain of those who are disconnected from self, and who suffer deeply.
