Most people who seek therapy do so because they are in some form of pain. The process of therapy itself can be difficult and uncomfortable, but the rewards outweigh the risks. I enjoy engaging with adult patients who want help and are willing to do the work it entails to feel better.
As a Social Worker, I take a "whole person" approach. There are many arenas that make up a person and an identity, some of which might be working better than others. I am an empathic person and an active listener. I want to understand your perspective and work with you to prioritize the next steps to a better sense of self.
