Having the opportunity to sit with people, listen to their stories and accompany them as they seek help at critical times in their lives is a great privilege. My experience as a clinical social worker includes working with immigrant and refugee communities; adults in an inpatient psychiatric facility; survivors of trafficking, sexual violence and domestic abuse; teen parents; military members and families with children at risk of out-of-home placement.
