My work focuses on illuminating my clients' strengths and helping them to access their inner emotional and spiritual wisdom, while also acknowledging and challenging the patterns of thought, communication and behavior - fueled by self-sabotaging stories - that may have been keeping them from reaching their natural state of health, happiness and success.
I have worked with local children, adolescents, adults, couples and families for several years, in schools, as anger management counselor and in private practice. I have an effective ability to help my clients feel understood in an intimidating world and find hope and inspiration to identify and pursue their goals.
Masters degrees in both Humanistic / Transpersonal psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy, along with my extensive experience studying with indigenous grandmothers and healers in the Amazon rainforest puts me in a unique position to serve individuals seeking to include spirituality into their healing process.
