Each of us bears some degree of suffering and distress, which impacts our ability and/or desire to connect and relate to others and the world around us. It can often have us feeling isolated, angry, hopeless, and searching for a way out. Reaching out for professional help is an empowering step towards learning healthy and positive ways of working through and overcoming past traumas and negative experiences.
I work with individuals, couples, and groups utilizing an effective and evidence-based approach, incorporating Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialect Behavior Therapy-Informed (DBT-I), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) together to meet the unique needs of clients through a multimodal approach style.
As a sex-positive, gender-affirming, LGBTQAI+ ally/advocate, I also strive to create a safe environment for people from all walks of life and backgrounds to work through uncomfortable and challenging topics and barriers. I'm also in process of becoming a Certified Sex Therapist to better help those with sex/gender and/or intimacy related issues and concerns.
