Are you trying to heal from emotional pain? Are you having difficulty maintaining healthy relationships? Are you feeling as though you have to hold everything together all on your own? If so, you are not alone. I have worked with people with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, grief/loss, and challenges related to life transitions and adjustments. I'm most energized working with folks who are willing to go on a journey of exploration and change, moving toward the life they want to live. For those for whom a spiritual component (or any form) is important, individuals are welcome to include this in the process.
I have in integrative approach that draws most heavily from acceptance and mindfulness-based and psychodynamic approaches. In my work I seek to help build psychological flexibility and emotional capacity while also helping to bring insight into the patterns that play out in one's life, often unconsciously.
Reaching out for therapy is never easy, as it requires a high degree of vulnerability with a near complete stranger. I do, hope, however that I'm able to offer a warm, inviting, and hospitable space to hold space with whatever you bring.
