I have worked in the field of addiction for the past 20 years in a wide variety of settings and roles. My ideal client will be an adult or teen with a substance problem or behavioral addiction who is ready to contemplate change. Together we will discern what that change looks like and the steps to achieving it.
I use person-centered counseling approaches such as motivational interviewing to help clients leverage their own wisdom and strengths in pursuit of the life and self that they desire. In addition to individual and couples counseling I facilitate a treatment group for professional men supporting one another in their recovery journey.
