About
I have 35+ years of experience assisting adults of all ages with a wide variety of personal and interpersonal concerns. My counseling style is interactive and engaging, and I borrow from a variety of therapeutic perspectives. I'm broadly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including relaxation training, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness approaches. I'm well practiced in treating anxiety-related and depressive concerns, and in addressing issues of family, relationships, and the complexities around life's transitions. I have decades of experience in multi-cultural and cross-cultural counseling.
In addition, I've had extensive training and practice helping students and working adults clarify their career development and choices. I approach vocational satisfaction as integral to personal and psychological health. I also offer consultation for parents navigating the social and mental health needs of their college students.
Any person who seeks change in life because of behavioral, emotional or relationship concerns that impede forward movement is right for my practice.
