I primarily work with clients between 17-40s struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting, and relationship problems. I approach all my clients with a prioritization of fully understanding who you are as a person. I find that is the best way to optimize a trusting relationship and set the most effective treatment goals possible. My ideal client is one who is willing to work with me on their healing journey and seeing as you're here, I'd say you fit that description.
I believe that understanding and healing are not things that can be rushed. I am here to offer a supportive, guiding hand in the healing journey. I pride myself on being able to offer empathetic confrontation when necessary so no, I won't just say what you want to hear, but I will say it how you want to hear it.
My main mission as a counselor in this field is to work to remove the stigma that therapy has and make it as comfortable as it is necessary. My goal is to create a safe space, free of judgement where expression and authenticity are welcomed and encouraged. Just because healing is difficult doesn't mean it has to be negative!
