I am a trauma-informed therapist who believes many of our problems come from how we respond to or avoid difficult thoughts, memories, feelings, and experiences. Anxiety, depression, grief, and uncertainty can all be a part of life. What is important is learning how to navigate them so they don't take control. Are you suffering from anxiety, worry, depression, or grief? Have you suffered trauma? Are you feeling overwhelmed, losing hope, or just wanting things to be different? You're not alone, and I believe you can make it through.
I will help you develop skills that allow you to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Rather than fighting with, or beating ourselves up over difficult thoughts and emotions, I believe it's important for us to be kind to ourselves, focusing on values and living in the present.
I want you to be comfortable because I know how uncomfortable it can be to come to therapy. Whether you have "big" or "small" issues, you are welcome here. You will find an advocate here who will listen and won't try to "fix" you. Just give me call, and let's see what we can accomplish.
